Commonly used in corrugated or folded carton applications to dispense hot melt in either horizontal or vertical modes. Manifold applicators are available in versions to take one, two or four dispense valves. Each applicator is available in 110V and 220V models and each requires a separate 3-way electric solenoid, available in 24VDC, 110VAC and 220VAC.

Valves
Dispense valves are available in-line (extrusion) for top carton applications and right angle models for bottom carton applications, ensuring hot melt adhesive is always dispensed with gravity.

Operation
Material is fed to the manifold by a heated hose; a control cable from the hose connects carries the necessary circuit to heat the manifold, it also provides the signal to the external 3-way solenoid. Clean factory air is connected to the air solenoid and switched to operate the manifold. Module valves are fitted to the manifold to dispense the material.
